How it works

Three paths. One rescued bike.

Free with a partner fix-up, refurbished by us, or sold by a local workshop - choose the path that fits you. Every path saves 250+ kg of CO2.

Path 1 · The free bike

Take a bike for €0, make it yours at a partner workshop

Some rescued bikes we hand over completely free. The only deal: you get it fixed and safety-checked at one of our partner workshops. That keeps you safe on the road, gives you an extended warranty on the work, and supports local repair businesses.

Path 2 · Refurbished by us

Buy a bike we've already rebuilt

Want zero hassle? We sell fully refurbished rescue bikes directly, at a minimal price. Each one is rebuilt end-to-end by our mechanics and ready to ride the moment you pick it up.

Path 3 · The marketplace

Buy from local workshops on our platform

Tallinn's workshops already refurbish great bikes - we give them a shopfront. Buying through the platform supports local businesses and keeps even more bikes in circulation instead of in scrap.

🏪

For workshops

List your refurbished bikes, reach new customers, and grow the repair economy. We handle the platform; you do what you do best.

🛡️

For buyers

Every marketplace bike comes from a verified workshop with professional standards - quality you can trust.

Behind the scenes

Where the bikes come from

We work with the city and established suppliers to collect abandoned bikes before they're scrapped. Each one is assessed: solid frames get rebuilt, the rest are stripped for spare parts. Nothing useful goes to waste.

01

Collection

Abandoned bikes are gathered from streets, courtyards and storage across Tallinn through our supplier network.

02

Triage

Frames are checked for safety. Rebuild, harvest for parts, or recycle the metal - every bike has a next life.

03

Rebuild

Our mechanics and partner workshops restore each keeper to road-ready condition.

04

Back to the city

Free, sold by us, or sold by a workshop - the bike returns to the streets where it belongs.

FAQ

Common questions

Why is the free bike "free" if I have to pay for repairs?

The bike itself costs €0 - you only pay the partner workshop for the actual repair work it needs (often just tyres, brakes and a tune-up). This is usually far cheaper than buying any bike, it guarantees the bike is safe to ride, and the repair comes with an extended warranty.

How do you know a new bike emits 250 kg of CO2?

That's a conservative estimate for a standard commuter bike, covering raw materials, manufacturing and transport from factory to supplier to store to you. E-bikes - with batteries and motors - emit substantially more. Rescuing an existing bike avoids almost all of it.

Can I see the bike before taking it?

Absolutely - we want you to. Visit the workshop at Telliskivi 60, Tallinn, check the bikes with your own hands and take a test ride.

Can I donate my old bike?

Yes please! Any bike - riding or not - can be donated. We'll rebuild it or use it for parts. Get in touch and we'll arrange it.

I run a workshop. How do I sell through your platform?

We'd love to have you. Partner workshops list their refurbished bikes on our platform and also handle the fix-ups for free rescue bikes. Contact us to get started.

Are you only in Tallinn?

For now, yes - Tallinn is our home base. Next we're expanding across the Baltics, then the Nordics, then the rest of Europe.
